PS2 games looked worse than xbox games and it's not because of 720p , PS2 games were less detailed had weaker AI and had less going on durring gamplay because it was less powerful.
I'll go with Microsoft, Sony nevers delivers on their hype. If you believe Sony's claims you're a fool. achira PS3 is not superior matter of fact it's has current generation hardware, the only thing about it that's next-gen is the Blu-ray drive and it does change anything !!!. 360 games will have better AI and better graphics, only if you knew how much is going on in side the 360 while you play.
